The lovely Ms. Jody Watley. Decades ahead of her time and a musical talent and genius. Still a DIVA and this is one that should have become a hit. But due to the politics of their two labels, some racism (of the time), and supposedly a stormy development/release meeting by George Michael and record execs; this didn’t happen. Get inspired and dance. It’s a rock track and the lyrics are so affirmative and about always believing in yourself. The vocals are hot. Someone needs to do a long-format mix of this.
