The 1st 20 Hours – How to learn anything! | Josh Kaufman | TEDxCSU

This month is dedicated to mind expansion and it’s deployment for the betterment of mankind and ladykind too. We’re talking about giving you guys and gals the skills to get those hi-tech 21st century jobs that pay Latte bucks, but have some stressful learning curves and yes, working with fat, ugly, Babyboomers who are bitter. Thanks Mr. Trump, we will say it one more time in drag-queen speak, B-I-T-T-A-H.

Regardless of fat Golden Handcuff Baby-boomers who had free college, most didn’t fight in Vietnam, and just plain fat and mean; these jobs pay well and you can still get both the American and the MILANESI dream. What is that? Learn a lot of good shit. Make a resume. Get a GOOD job. Put some money away and have some leftover to buy Armani, Versace, D&G and of course visit us in Milano!

So in that spirit we present a man with a solution on how to learn stuff (in this very complex age).

Josh Kaufman is the author of the #1 international bestseller, The Personal MBA: Master the Art of Business, as well as the upcoming book The First 20 Hours: Mastering the Toughest Part of Learning Anything. Josh specializes in teaching people from all walks of life how to master practical knowledge and skills. In his talk, he shares how having his first child inspired him to approach learning in a whole new way.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

MILANO411 loves Josh’s presentation and it’s perfect for both a man and a woman. An Italian or an American. Whether your Black, White, Asian, or just plain fabulous. And can’t forget Gay Guys too. This program literally could be weapons of mass destruction for your social life too….

Ok…if we left anyone out, get back to us. Ciao from Milano…April is about the MIND and what you can do with it! More on that coming real soon…
