I Was There When House Took Over the World

AFRO-CULTURE MONTH: Welcome to the birth of HOUSE MUSIC. This film, drops the 411 hard and still relates to our lives today. In both our NYC and Milano office, we love HOUSE MUSIC. We play it all the time and special thanks goes to Antoine and Gio (living in Rome) for their contributions as musical directors to the magazine.

House Music, invented by Afro-Americans from Chicago, and it changed the world, again. Afro-Culture is modern culture. If it’s new, normally Black People are doing it first or invented the genre. That’s just it. Sit back and learn a lot from this documentary.

Ciao from MILANO411.com

Watch a brand new documentary about the history of house music. Featuring Nile Rodgers, Marshall Jefferson, Honey Dijon, and many more. Nile Rodgers and more on how Disco’s death gave birth to the most iconic sound in dance. How social unrest and Chicago’s underground gay clubs led to a global dance movement. How young black entrepreneurs created a music empire that eventually topped UK charts.
