But for those of a Classical Age mindset, what was Ireland in Roman Times? It was HIBERNIA. Love that name. According to sailors also known as &#8220;the forbidden island of darkness.&#8221; Why??? According to The Romans, you couldn&#8217;t see past the forests and the vegetation came close to coast in those times. The people were known warriors and the Romans had various plans, but none worked out. Which is good for Ireland. Both Ireland and Iran share in common. They were outside the Roman World. Add China and ancient Kush (modern Sudan) were also on this list.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>More Roman stuff coming. And a Happy <strong>St. Patrick&#8217;s Day<\/strong> to the unconquered people of Ireland.
